Mount Saint Michael is a co-educational voluntary secondary school in Rosscarbery, West Cork.
The school is situated in a beautiful picturesque hilltop, overlooking Rosscarbery Bay and
boasts some of the finest views in Ireland.
The school was founded in 1894 by the Mercy Order, and the
Sisters of Mercy began their long tradition of education in Rosscarbery.
Our school strives for academic excellence, as well as providing
an exciting range of extra-curricular activities for our students.
Mount Saint Michael embraces the charism of,
the founder of the Mercy Order, Catherine McAuley "to fit the students for earth without unfitting them for Heaven".
The school is now under the auspices of CEIST - Catholic Education An Irish Schools Trust.
You can contact the school's Principal - Mr Bart Kerrisk or our Deputy Principal - Ms. Dee Keohane,
should you have any further queries on the school and what
Mount Saint Michael Secondary School has to offer.
We look forward to welcoming you to our school.
